December. McQueen was a Savile Row-trained tailor and highly skilled maker, and a
voracious consumer of film, photography, art, music, technology and philosophy.
All on display in the exhibition, which contextualises more than 120 McQueen
works - paintings, sculptures and historical objects. A simulated reference
library on themes related to each garment. “McQueen was all about research, he
worked in a very particular manner and the research was very broad,” says

A lot is being written
about the loss of electoral appeal and support suffered by Australia's two major
political parties. These parties have taken the electors for
granted over recent years and are now suffering the consequences of loss of
trust and support.
If our politicians and
their parties wish to regain electoral confidence and trust, they must change their
practices. Instead of avoiding community discussion, or parading token input, on
issues and then implementing partial solutions based on party dogma and political
expediency, they need to engage the electorate in informed and broad-scale dialogue.

The Guadian's Denis Campbell reports that trial results suggest people with newly diagnosed glioblastoma could potentially be given extra years of life. A senior NHS doctor, Prof Keyoumars Ashkanwho, was one of the trial’s chief investigators said the evidence showed DCVax had resulted in “astonishing” enhanced survival for patients.Overall 13% of people who received it lived for at least five years after diagnosis. The vaccine is a form of immunotherapy, in which the body’s immune system is programmed to track down and attack the tumour.
