Messers Albanese and Chalmers are now talking about taking actions based
on evolving community consensus. They must clarify how the community consensuses
are to be achieved.
Our electorate is rightly cynical about decisions taken by the government based
on polls that can be manipulated or through discussion with unions and some of
the supposed great and good from our institutions.
True consensus will only come from drawing the broader community into awareness
of the issues and the potential solutions through transparent dialogue,
including people they can relate to and trust.
Our politicians must get real on consensus
building!
The GenCell FOX is a low-temperature alkaline fuel cell which generates power from liquid ammonia – one of the most effective and energy-dense carbon-free hydrogen carriers – with only water, nitrogen and heat. The solution has been designed to comply with strict zero-emission sustainability objectives, ensure resilient 24/7 continuous power even in harsh weather conditions, and minimise operating expenses through its use of economical and widely available liquid ammonia fuel. Alkaline fuel cell technology can help operators implement renewable power solutions directly at mobile sites, even when they are located in remote locations and the toughest climate conditions. https://israeltr

Japanese Car makers are catching up with Chinese and US brands, with recent announcements regarding their EV intentions. With new factories from Honda and Toyota, EV battery
production is forecast to grow by 430% from 95.3 gigawatt hours (GWh) in 2020
to 410.5 GWh in 2024, according to GlobalData. Ford’s 3 new battery plants will enable 129 GWh a year of
production capacity. General Motors’ four new battery factories have annual
capacity of 140 GWh, while VW is aiming at six battery plants operating in Europe
by 2030 for a total of 240 GWh a year. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/news/honda-and-lg-chem-will-build-a-2444-billion-ev-battery-factory-in-the-us/ar-AA11euFg
A potato plant in which everything on it is edible for humans will play a pivotal role in addressing food and nutritional security on Earth and in space.
This kind of plant will eliminate waste while increasing crop yield. The current aerial portion of potato plants contain accumulated solanine which fights pests and pathogens but is toxic to humans. In space farming platforms, solanine-mediated plant resistance would be unnecessary in highly controlled environments. Drinking just two cups of tea per day could lower your risk of mortality by 10 per cent, a study suggests. The findings also suggested that the result was the same no matter whether milk or sugar was added, what their preferred tea temperature was, or whether there were genetic variants involved affecting the rate at which caffeine was metabolised. The researchers, from the National Institutes of Health, used data from the UK Biobank, which revealed that 85 per cent of men and women in the study aged 40 to 69 report that they regularly drink tea. Of those, 89 per cent said they drank black tea.https://inkl.com/a/WnXkEWuPro
