Tech4Justice (owned and controlled by The National Justice Project) has collaborated with Macquarie University, Josef Legal and K&L Gates to build automated chatbots that will aid people who have suffered discrimination, such as racial or disability discrimination, to make a valid complaint to the Australian Human Rights Commission. Although still under construction, these bots will alleviate the complexity of navigating discrimination related laws. This is particularly useful for people from a non-legal background who may have difficulty understanding the law and/or how to make a valid complaint. Less than 10 per cent of all perishable foods is estimated to be refrigerated, even though post-harvest losses add up to 30 per cent of food production worldwide. Innovation with decentralized renewable energy (DRE) is essential in Africa and Asia because access and connection to electricity in rural areas, where food is produced, is still poor . Solar energy is harnessed to run these machines.
The units run directly from solar power during the day and stored solar energy (batteries) at night,These units can be used by governments, farmers, military and humanitarian workers. Photo credit: Adelano
A reconstruction of the Earth's beating heart over a billion years, illustrating the connection between deep-seated convection currents (just above the core-mantle boundary), tectonic plate movements, and the authors' cities in green (Sydney, Qingdao, Leeds, Austin). The mantle convection video below is based on a "mantle reference frame" that optimises the positions of the plates and their boundaries relative to the mantle, a necessity for understanding the connection between deep-seated mantle upwellings and surface volcanism - Dietmar Müller...Model data and additional videos > https://lnkd.in/gAGvhC3Y andOpen-access Solid Earth paper > https://lnkd.in/g94zcE_T
