Australia: Let’s Push “Breakthrough” At The Federal Election
As our two significant parties shape up for the coming federal
election, there is more emphasis on what they will not do rather than what they
will do.
We need politicians committed to developing policies that reflect
the common good - not partisan bias or the needs of vested interests - and to implement
efficiently and effectively.
Let’s demand some effective policies covering: Government
income and expenditure; Energy policy and climate change; Defence; Affordable
housing; Adequate staffing and funding for Health, Aged Care and NDIS services;
Community reconciliation and healing; The social safety net; Equal education opportunities
starting at pre-school…

Natural Disaster Survival Cupboard
Thousands of people die or go missing each year due to a lack of basic survival resources after natural disasters, and this problem is worsening with climate change promoting natural disasters. This product is a Natural Disaster Survival Cupboard which will be placed around cities – like payphones – most susceptible to severe natural disasters and will provide the community with survival resources. The resources include first aid, canned food, water, radiotelephone, tents, rafts, blankets, female sanitary items, basic clothing, and flares. Maintenance teams can be used if approval is given by the government of the city.

Gateway
Due to the rise of the pandemic and with people going to more events as the effect of this global catastrophe resolves, more and more institutes across the world are using forms of online check in through means such as QR codes or otherwise. My goal is to create a universal product that allows people to seamlessly admit themselves into recreational institutes whether the reason for that be due to a government mandate or simply a ticket based entry.

ᗺrightLight
ᗺrightLight is a lamp that utilises colour therapy to improve reading skills for individuals with Dyslexia and ADHD. Around 1 in 10 people experience dyslexia, including myself, and therefore this product is important to me. The lamp will have a coloured sheet inserted, hence changing the colour of the light rays projected onto a surface. The lamp will run on solar power, as today’s society is more inclined to purchase a sustainable product with zero negative effect on the environment. Finding a lamp that aids those with Dyslexia and ADHD is rare, making this product a gap in the market.
