Australian scientists are attempting to make a pill containing many of the benefits of exercise. But it won’t be medicine for lazy couch potatoes. The futuristic therapy is designed to help immobile patients unable to exert themselves at an intensity that delivers the rewards of physical activity. Australian National University researchers could have already discovered the key to making it a reality. They’ve identified unique molecular messages that travel to our brains and potentially our eyes immediately after exercise. The paper industry is energy-intensive. According to the EIA, the industry consumed 1483.2 trillion British thermal units (Btu) of energy in 2019.  At the same time, the CO2 emissions of the paper industry reached 48 million tons. Utilising renewable energy is a well established way to try to reduce the emissions footprint of processing steps reliant on electricity.  But replacing natural gas needed for high temperature drying is harder. Jews across the world combine spirituality and charitable lessons. The Can-orah campaign for Chanukah is a menoah made from  donated food cans.  It takes typically 770 cans as a goal to create a great menorah. The message in Chanukah is to fight the darkness of despair with light . Kids and adults spread the light by feeding the hungry. The cans gets erected and participants are happy to see their pile of cans grow. Menorah’s usually get as tall as 5 feet. The food is sent  to warehouses and then donated to families in crisis.
