Like any change journey, the road to net zero involves several distinct steps. Decarbonization is no longer just an option. Across of the world, companies with ambitions to stay in business over the long term are already on a 30- or 40-year journey to net-zero emissions. Companies can both decarbonize and boost long-term growth. But it means pushing beyond abatement curves’ focus on cost and instead empowering people—while making a few big, strategic bets. 

Israel is one of the most technologically advanced nations and has much to offer on the quantum computing front. Earlier this year it was announced that Israel is to invest about $60 Million in order to build its first Supercomputer. A landmark effort in Coachella Valley, California  is  underway to bring the COVID-19 vaccine directly into the fields. Thousands of farm workers, considered essential workers in the U.S.A. are being pulled into pop-up vaccination clinics hosted by growers and run by the county Health Department.Covid-19 has been a tremendous problem in farming communities because workers at times do mot have access easily to water and soap for hand washing, live in close quarters and are not insured or far away from medical facilities. Many are in need of PPE.

Nomadic entrepreneur Joseph Sharp has created the world’s first cooperative, sustainable platform for short term rentals. Named ‘Sustayn’ as a play on the words “Sustainable” and “Stay. The platform provides an opportunity for consumers looking for sustainable accommodation. It redirects a percentage of commissions towards causes to help the planet to sustain and regenerate.
