To The Stars
There are over 1000 satellites with a mass over 150 kg needing to be launched annually by 2023 to specific orbits and there is just not enough capacity to get them up into space. Gilmour Space solve that problem, they are developing 2 launch vehicles to take 100 kg and 400 kg to Low Earth Orbit at a consistently cheaper cost than all known competition.Check out the AMGC project here https://www.amgc.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/GILMOUR-SPACE-COMPOSITE-RELEASE-FINAL.pdf

Against the odds, South Australia is a renewable energy powerhouse
South Australia - 20 years ago relied totally on fossil fuel generated energy. Now in 2021 it has 60% renewables. "South Australia shows how good public policy can enable dramatic emissions reduction, even in a privately owned electricity system". It is a model that the rest of Australia and the world can learn from. "As the transition progressed, the state’s largest coal generator, at Port Augusta, was wound back and eventually closed. To help workers and the town adjust, the state government supported employment alternatives".https://theconversation.com/against-the-odds-south-australia-is-a-renewable-energy-powerhouse-how-on-earth-did-they-do-it-153789

The Plastic Bag Revolution
We all depend on plastic in our everyday lives, but now we are drowning in it. And the once-revolutionary product has now become public enemy number one in the fight for the climate. With an estimated 300 million plastic bags every year ending up in the Atlantic Ocean alone. TOMbags reusable garbage bags are set to revolutionise the way we think of disposing of our garbage. On a mission to make single-use plastic bags a thing of the past, TOMbags reusable garbage bags are waterproof, durable, washable and are made with recycled plastic. Check out TOMbags website here: https://www.tombag.com.au/

RESET by Ross Garnaut | Restoring Australia after the great crash of 2020
"We have the lowest energy costs in a zero emissions world and it becomes an advantage in processing Australian minerals. That can become a huge industry. We also have big advantages in our huge areas of land for capturing carbon in plants, in the soil, exporting carbon credits, growing biomass for industry because we won't be making plastics and petrochemicals out of oil, gas and coal, we'll be making them out of biomass and if we get our act together we can do that more cheaply than others."...https://www.abc.net.au/7.30/what-will-the-post-covid-economy-look-like/13194362

Using graphene to extract gold from tailings
Graphene development company SPARC TECHNOLOGIES has demonstrated that its graphene product in solution can adsorb gold and silver from mine tailings dumps.Adsorption, not to be confused with absorption, is a process in which molecules are held loosely on the surface of an adsorbent. The company, which has licenced graphene-based technologies from the University of Adelaide, has shown its product outperformed commercially available adsorbents, opening up a large potential market treating minesite dumps.https://www.aumanufacturing.com.au/sparc-uses-graphene-to-extract-gold-from-tailingshttps://sparctechnologies.com.au/Feel free to reach out to me and connect here:
