A blood test could detect breast cancer up to five years before any clinical signs of the disease, according to researchers. Cancer cells produce proteins called antigens that trigger the body to make antibodies against them: autoantibodies. Hearts created from stem cells could make transplants obsolete. Australia has developed a human heart using a 3-D process developed by Israeli scientists. The prototype is the size of a rabbit heart with blood vessels, ventricles and chambers.
