New nanoparticles to improve treatments
Lucigem produces a range of nanomaterials, primarily focused on fluorescent nanodiamonds. It uses small and bright nanodiamond and nanoruby probes, which can be attached to objects to light them up and thus enable tracking using optical or other detection techniques over long periods. Lucigem strives to generate nanoparticles with well-characterised physical and chemical properties, which ensure you achieve reproducible results. Lucigem has been supported by the ON Accelerate program at CSIRO. http://www.oninnovation.com.au/en/ON-teams/ON-Tribe/Accelerate3/LuciGem

A new way to measure solar energy output
SkyCAM System is a state of the art solar forecasting platform. Driven by computer vision and cutting edge algorithms, the system delivers tailored, local and relevant forecasts for your system. SkyCAM significantly reduces costs and the use of diesel usage by a minimum of 15 per cent. Savings of up to 30 per cent can be achieved with SkyCAM with 99 per cent forecast accuracy. SkyCAM has been supported by the ON Accelerate program at CSIRO. http://www.oninnovation.com.au/en/ON-teams/ON-Tribe/ON-Accelerate4-Teams/Cloud180CAM

A new approach to data anonymisation
Anonalytix is a new software suite that enables de-identification of personally identifiable information (PII data), while preserving the utility of data analytics. Anonalytix preserves the statistical properties of the original data for analytical uses, while reducing the risk of privacy breach. The Anonalytix approach removes costly management overheads for data sharing, and enables high quality analytical results in a range of industries. Anonalytix has been supported by the ON Accelerate program at CSIRO. http://www.oninnovation.com.au/en/ON-teams/ON-Tribe/Accelerate1/Anonalytix

A New Whiskey Experience Using 3D Printing Tech
Bulleit Frontier Works developed a new whiskey experience using 3D printing tech at Tribeca Film Festival. For this particular project, Bulleit partnered with Machine Histories which 3D printed the bar structure and Print A Drink which supplied the robotic drink-printing arm. The purpose of this project is to encourage people to explore and experiment with liquids and to create new experiences in the drinks industry. https://cheddar.com/media/diageo-bulleit-whiskey-3d-printing-tribeca

Brain Decoder that Turns Brain Signals into Speech
Brain decoder is a new UCSF-developed tool that can convert brain signals into a computer simulation of the vocal tract. The electrodes are implanted into the brain of volunteers and then decoded signals in cerebral speech centres to guide a computer-simulated version of their vocal tract ? lips, jaw, tongue and larynx ? to generate speech through a synthesiser. https://eandt.theiet.org/content/articles/2019/04/scientists-develop-brain-decoder-that-turns-brain-signals-into-speech/
