Diffuse Energy's product is a small wind turbine that, through being enclosed within a diffuser, can produce nearly twice the power output of existing wind turbines of the same size. The Fast Wrapping Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FasRaP) is a newly created industrial tape that is strong enough to withstand earthquakes and bomb blasts. FasRaP may reduce labour and material costs as well as help restore historical buildings. Unlike the common fibre reinforced polymer sheets that require teams to apply the resin to the damaged surface first, FasRaP resin hardens when it is exposed to light. It is proven that a pillar covered by FasRaP withstood 80 percent more force than an unwrapped column.
