Contactile gives robots the sense of touch. Contactile's technology is a tactile sensor that provides the sensory advantages of the human hand without the physical limitations related to size, strength, environment and fatigue, enabling robotic gripping with just the right amount of force. Contactile has been supported by the ON Accelerate program at CSIRO. http://www.oninnovation.com.au/en/ON-teams/ON-Accelerate5-Teams/Contactile
Panasonic collaborated with Vitra to create a transparent television called Vitrine that looks like a piece of furniture. The technological components are cleverly concealed within the wooden frame, which doubles as a stand for the TV. Graph Air is a cost efficient process of producing graphene. It can filter out extremely toxic chemical compounds while allowing pure, pH neutral water through. It has narrow channels through which smaller water molecules can pass, but larger dissolved molecules and solvated ions are blocked. Graph Air has been supported by the ON Accelerate program at CSIRO. http://www.oninnovation.com.au/en/ON-teams/ON-Tribe/Accelerate1/Graph-Air
Sensei enables customers to achieve a greater understanding of their harshest process environments, allowing them to more effectively optimise their processes. Using Sensei, sensors are embedded in the material being processed and can be set to transmit readings at whatever time intervals are required. It is the only solution in the market that has the potential to provide cost effective measurement and productivity benefits for mining, petroleum, food and beverage and environmental industries. Sensei has been supported by the ON Accelerate program at CSIRO. http://www.oninnovation.com.au/en/ON-teams/ON-Tribe/Accelerate1/Sensei
